Awesome Show Last Night!

Wow, our Lord is so amazing. Despite the torrential downpours, He lead all of our guests and staff safely to the set of The Good Business Show. We are honored to be able to use the sanctuary of Second Baptist for the taping. This show was the best yet, with musical talent, some incredible Spirit-Filled people and some very intriguing interviews. Our Guests were: Jane Harding & Ron Swofford of Executive Services Corps of Houston,, Mike Malkemes & Martin Garza of Generation One, Alan Litvak of Kingdom Racing, Marti Boone of Be an Angel Fund, Inc., Bonnie Thompson of Pregnancy Crisis Center North, and Musical Guests: Peggy Neff and David Darsey, son of George Darsey, his music is uploaded on the music section.

And of course, the Purpose Media International Cast & Crew!

We are moving toward the open source entertainment model, where anyone can watch, send and message the shows we produce. They aren't OUR shows to keep to ourselves, they are His shows and they should go everywhere. So if you see something you like, send the players to everyone, put them on your site or blog.

An exciting initiative: We are praying for a title sponsor for this show, and the others in development. The Lord has placed a great opportunity to take this show in venues with live-audiences. The September show will be in front of a 1200 person venue, we would love to fill the seats, and do this all over the country, including Vegas. Can you imagine God has a show in Vegas??? How awesome? Also, SAF Studios in San Antonio wants to help direct this show and place it at their new motion picture theme park when it's built. It will have a home when it completes the road tour. Please be praying for this, and if you know anyone that wants to fund this please let us know.

The Live-streaming.
We had some technical challenges with the internet signal, and were only able to get parts of it live-streamed to the web, and because of that the microphone adapter wasn't functioning correctly on the back-up computer that was getting a better connection. The web prefers live and if the Lord draws them to the content, they'll watch it regardless of the technical interruptions. So if you were a guest, we will be publishing the interviews on youtube, but don't expect much because the connection froze a number of times. We need lots of prayer for the next show! We are considering a few options to solve these issues, and will have them fixed by the next show.

Good in Racing

This is awesome. Kingdom Racing. They will have a full-time race team in next year's Indy 500! Good is coming to racing, good is coming to the web, the entertainment industry, it's everywhere! Kingdom Racing is accepting title sponsors now, if anyone knows of anyone, let me know.

Meet the Chef

This guy ROCKS! He cooked for us the other night (we have some really good footage, but we're saving it for later) He deserves nothing less than to reach millions through cooking...buy his book before it hits the shelves on his site: www.cookingwithclive.com. It's really not even about the cooking, its about the moments and cooking is the platform he uses to share the message of Christ. Let's help him!

Seven Eleven

Today, our creator chose to bring me into this world. Today, I know why, to give His life through me to everyone else--I know why He sent me. It's a huge purpose, to add good to the media world out there, infiltrate the system with His kind of content, but it's Him pulling the strings, not me. I'm just along for the ride, watching in amazement as His plan comes together. Below is a reflection of my life up until today, the beginning of a new chapter, decade and purpose.

This is bizarre. Three decades old. It's awesome, though. Now that I'm officially a grown-up, it's even more liberating to "act" like a twenty-something. So before this day in history, I messed up a lot, ran a successful recruiting business from 21-29, bore 2 beautiful children, married a guy, got divorced from the guy, watched my family evolve into a unit, lost a unit member, became aware that life is not about me, but about other people, gave up my life, again, to Christ, got into web video production somehow, made another company, have a whole new set of friends and connections, started a non-profit and now, here I sit writing this--I only have one thing--a day, today. One day to make a difference. No guarantee of tomorrow, all the opportunity in the world to help another person by just being who I am, nothing more nothing less...just me. Using this time to benefit others in the best way possible. With the help of other people, the talents I've been given can grow into something huge---but without them, those talents aren't magnified to serve others. So, thank you to the family, old friends and new, networking buddies and everyone in the sphere of influence. The interim pastor at our church said this: when you encounter someone else, your life is never the same. You're changed. Good or bad, they added something to you. That changed me. Thanks again!

Being Real Works-Businesses THIS is how it's done.

Being Real Works-This is not only cool, but this guy went to a vending machine room for better acoustics and dude can sing, too! Didn't get dressed up, no chair, he probably doesn't even have shoes on---classic. Leading example of what businesses should be doing on the web.

Sitting in a hotel tonight in Santa Fe, NM and was bored. So Wes and I went to the vending machine room (for good acoustics) and recorded 'Mighty to Save'. This song is one of my favorites and has been such an incredible song to lead worship with and watch people proclaim 'Savior, he can move the mountains'... what if we really believed that? how would life be lived differently for us? think a...

Happy Birthday to Me! Video comes to the iphone!

This just answered the question to my last blog. Seriously, the 11th is my birthday, thank you, Apple for releasing this. I will never forget you. It's the BEST 30th birthday, EVER! Thank you also for teaching me how to unlock my phone without risking the warranty, I just love you.

Don’t expect to see Flixwagon iPhone support rolled out to alpha testers until early July, perhaps when the official app store goes live on the 11th. If you’re interested in broadcasting from your iPhone or any other device, you can email Flixwagon at techcrunch@flixwagon.com and they’ll give you priority access to the service.

See the video below for a demonstration of Flixwagon on the iPhone. All iPhone broadcasts can also be found here.

Video for iPhone?

This service says it has iphone functionality/support for the iphone. Not sure about yours, but my iphone doesn't have video, which is a huge bummer. Am I missing something? Please let me know so I can be really, really, excited that I can shoot video and use this awesome service to send the webTV shows we create across the world. Seriously, this is a really cool tool. Anyone coming to a live Good Business show this year, feel free to video it and send it to all your friends using this awesome tool. I love how they're just making getting good content out there easier and easier!

Among the new features, users can now register and download the client software through Nokia Symbian Series 60 mobile browsers. Before broadcasting, users can specify whether to increase video quality or decrease delay. With new two-way text chat, broadcasters can write back messages to the comments area that appears during a broadcast from their mobile device. They can also change title videos during broadcasts and enjoy digital zoom-in and zoom-out.

Clean Kid Content

This studio rocks! They're producing the coolest 3D animation, perfect fit for Nickelodeon, called Jesse D & Me. We got to see the whole process from concept to actualization at their studios. If you've been to MGM, you know what I'm talking about. Only these studios are in the middle of nowhere, in Hartselle, AL. They're really creating great work, and I can't wait to see more of their stuff. In the meantime, check out all their videos..bring over the kids, and make it a WebTV night, watching Christian Kid Content.
