Got Glutothione?

I didn't know I even needed it. I have been taking this stuff for about a month & a half, and every mom in the world needs it. I'm not a big sales person, but this stuff is so awesome. I didn't really understand any of it until I watched the video (the one they told me to watch, but HATE it when people tell me what to do, so I didn't) Now I get it. See Glutothione is what our cells lose through free radicals in our system (put there by toxins in the environment, foods, etc) begin to take over. Free radicals cause cellular inflammation. Everyone knows inflammation is BAD news, Charlie Brown. So, if we can keep our cells from becoming inflamed, then we have found a cure or at least the beginning of a cure of a lot of diseases. Getting our cells back to normal function will strengthen our immune systems to fight off infection and other free radicals circulating through all of the world today. Not only that, but stronger cells create a stable pathway from synapses in the brain to all body parts, resulting in peak performance in just about anything. Just an example, this is no joke: I took Zumba for the first time (if you haven't done it, its a MUST for any chick) & didn't miss a beat...I learned how to play the guitar on Tuesday, I know all the chords and am LOVING it...yeah, I can do just about anything now...with the exception of barrel race, my friends horse just didn't like me very much, she knows a beginner when she sees one, I suppose. Now, my friend, says she "can't cry anymore" an someone else I know says that his temper is gone....poof, gone. All I know is that from my experience, being 30, and at an age when everything in my life is going haywire, it's nice that I can be calm in the storm, and wait for the seasons to change, enjoy life, try and master new things, stay fit and thin ---- by the way, the first time I've been to a gym in 8 weeks was this week at Zumba.....I'm not thrilled because I've lost muscle tone, but it will come back quickly when I start back up. Now this supplement completes my program, Wellness Reality...the reality of being well adjusted with mind body & spirit, backing it all up through Biblical scripture, the only Truth there is. Oh, and the best part of this whole Gulothione thing is that this product, MaxGXL was developed for AIDS patients. This is the perfect opportunity to tell Diana @ Bake the Cycle about it for her next missions trip to Rwanda!! I can't wait! She must take some with her to the widows with HIV. One of the founders of this product, Steven K. Scott is the author of The Greatest Words Ever Spoken, Everything Jesus Had to Say about Anything.....what an example to follow.

Concerned Friend

Post your thoughts

This needs an outsiders opinion ......It looks to me like this chick married a crook. I got this letter from someone and wanted to post it to get your thoughts.

......She left everything to get away from him, but stayed in the area for the kids. After Ike, he told her she could move with her kids out of state (she has emails to prove it), but on visitation he took them back & pushed her out of the house. Before that, he paid her a lump sum out of his checking account after he re-financed the house, she still doesn't know how much he refinanced it for, but the divorce decree says she should get half. I think she made a whole lot of money while they were together. I think he waited 'til she didn't make the big bucks anymore and divorced her. There's another girl there now, and she doesn't have custody of her kids, but her ex lives in the same neighborhood, and this new girlfriend's kids go to the same day care as her kids....kinda weird...

Now the kids are with him, she thinks since he neglected them, they need to stay with him for a while, but what kind of person takes a mother's kids away from her?? I know her, and she is always with those kids, she only wants what's best for them.

My friend is really naive and would never think of anyone doing anything this crazy, but I'm worried she's going to get really hosed by this guy. I keep telling her that there's something up, but she's still trying to get over the abuse and neglect from her marriage.

Since I don't know how to help her, I think this story needs to get out, and get some other opinions.

This email explains the situation with the boat that's still in both of their names. They put it into a boat leasing program in January. I think she just talked to the Club Owner this morning after having a chance to mull over past events and what her ex has done previously.

How does this chick protect herself against this guy?

HERE'S THE BOAT SITUATION. SHE WANTS TO SEND THIS, BUT IS CONCERNED THIS GUY COULD BE IN ON IT, TOO.

"After speaking with you, I am a little concerned. I was not aware of any damage to the boat, (THE EX) said "it just moved up & down in its bay, and our boat was the only one without damage" after Ike came through. So, I'm a little confused that there is now an insurance claim on property in my name, under (BOAT CLUB)'s Insurance policy. I'm sure you can understand my concern.

Just to confirm, I need you send all info relating to the boat we, (THE EX) and I put in your program to this email address.

(BOAT CLUB) may wish to protect its interests by releasing true and accurate information to each person listed on the contract. Since I'm rarely available over the phone, this is the best way to reach me.

I also learned from (THE EX) that (BOAT CLUB) intends to move the boat that's in my name to Austin. I need to know more abut this idea, before I consent to this move. I would like to have the opportunity to consent in writing, after I've had a chance to review the facts, new contract terms, and other variables that would put us at risk, when considering a decision of this magnitude.

Since our contract with you is up in January, I would imagine we would need to sign a contract extension of some sort if you were to move the boat, to a new location.

What do you think he's up to? And How does she get out of this????

Local Press talks to Bake the Cycle

So, the local press is making a big deal about Bake the Cycle in their little town. This is bigger than we think, the widows are putting together a drama this year. We want to film them doing this and get this into the theatre. Everyone needs to know about this story.

San Marcos Daily Record - Breaking Bread

Published: September 04, 2008 12:17 pm

As the Rwandan mission continues for locally-based True Vineyard ministries, 10 widows in the city of Ruhengeri-Musanze now have something they could have never imagined a year ago: A full-time job.
“I think they were surprised by it (the oven) at first,” Wiley said. “Even over here in the States, it looks like a satellite, some UFO thing. So many of them have never baked in any type of oven. They just don’t have that kind of concept. Even down to trying to slice the bread, they didn’t know how to use a bread knife. This is something that is completely unknown to them.”

Ayinkamiye Velonic (right) and Uzamukunda Alivera enjoy a few minutes of break time while working at the new bakery in Rwanda.

A wall was built in three days on the land recently purchased in Ruhengeri by True Vineyard Ministries. The lot will eventually be the permanent home of the widows’ bakery.

Solve Attrition Problems

Reading this and putting it into practice in any business could solve the alarming attrition rate in America. We are so used to just disposing of people because they don't "fit the job" what about fitting a job around them and who they are and what they will become....how liberating. Tell me a company that does this and I'm there's for life...

CW: Obviously, an organic human capital strategy has to focus on getting as many productivity employees in the organization as possible. What can a business who wants to be organic do to retain these employees once they have them?

  • Grow Old Together. Most jobs have some potential for creativity and growth. Most employees bring their own desire and potential for creativity and growth. Consider the aspirations of the individual employee. These exist, whether acknowledged or not. It is easy to believe that, once understood, these aspirations are static. But this is absolutely not the case. Aspirations change with time, with experience, with maturity, with age. Aspirations change, yet companies often have no recognition of this reality. They make no provision for the different, often uncontrollable external events going on in their employees’ lives. They treat them all the same, yet different stages of life can make you good or bad, a fit or not a fit, for different roles at different times.

    Broken

The story of 10 widows impacts an entire city-- and God gets the credit for all of it. The cycle is broken because of a house, a solar oven & a sheep.

I’m called to spread this message to all of you, and figure out a way to get it to the world. Purpose Media International will be producing a documentary. Today is the day to raise money to see that it’s high-quality and put together professionally. PMI also puts on the Christian Entertainment Festivals to raise money for Bake the Cycle.

Some of you know by now I work with a ministry, a small one, making a big impact in African villages. The story is incredible. It’s God breathed, no doubt. If you know me, you know I love Jesus. This story is confirmation that there is a God, and that He loves us, and is the source of Hope. All hope, all good things and everything anyone needs to be fulfilled.

It started with me when Erica O’Grady & I took a trip to San Marcos to see some people in the internet business, Daniel Guitierez, & Diana Wiley. The last of these is where the story begins.

    Missed it AGAIN! Barcamp Houston

That's about the ONLY thing bad about being a single mom, I miss the coolest events sometimes!! But it's a good thing that the guys at Startuphouston.com and awesome people at the event contribute so much, for us poor pitiful souls! If you haven't had a chance to go to a barcamp, you must, you just absolutely must!!

BarCamp Houston 2008: I Am Still Exhausted

    The Schedule

If you did not get a chance to attend the happy hour at Caroline Collective Friday night or BarCamp Houston on Saturday at the Houston Technology Center, you missed out on two fantastic opportunities to socialize, collaborate and gain an education on why Forbes magazine calls Houston a, “bubbling entrepreneurial tech scene.” Here are some things that I walked away with after the event:

  • Bringing lunch in was the best idea I ever had. Last year, we all broke away for lunch and the event fizzled out after that. This year, we brought in Pappas BBQ and I believe it was a huge hit. Thanks to Ed Schipul for taking charge during feeding time to speed up the process. Most everyone was surprised that lunch was catered and it helped us recharge for the afternoon sessions.

Great Answers to Web Branding through Video

These people on Linkedin had some great answers to a question I asked the other day. I especially love the answer about the COMMUNITY determining the validity of a video. Once a company understands that the audience on the web is escaping advertising and marketing, they may catch onto allowing their employees to create their own documentaries, good & bad--then promote their employee's brand vs. their own.
    clipped from www.linkedin.com

Why are businesses still making antiviral videos and expecting viral results?

Can you really "make" a video go viral? Isn't it the community that ultimately decides what goes viral. A business can create something that may qualify as viral worthy, but unless people share the video, it doesn't matter.

I think the key is creating story about a business or brand that resonates with an audience, but some of that is still trial and error.

    Messages from Miguel Cano (1):

It's not just with video but with the web in general. We're what, 10+ years into this whole innernets thing and lots of marketing people still don't understand if you want to broadcast the SOS on the web, the message will be ignored. Create something interesting and human and it has a much better chance to resonate with people even if it is not a huge viral success.

    Who do YOU work for?

Brad has posted a blog entry about who he really works for, in this day and time, it's nice to know we work for the One who is constant and never changes. Great post, Brad!

    Man Meets God

    We Work For God

In a recent discussion with my wife, we both came to realize who we truly work for. We work for God. In the world today, many of us are defined by what we do for a living. If you think about it, what is just about the first topic that comes up when you meet someone new or see someone you haven’t seen in a while. It usually centers around their jobs or careers. If you ask someone to tell you about themselves without asking about their work, it will frequently come up first. Most of us work for someone, meaning we are not self-employed. This means we have a boss. It also means that if we do not keep the boss happy, he/she might ask us to find employment elsewhere. For those of us who have been through that experience, it can be very frightening, humbling and life-changing.

    Live Streaming from Live Events

Here's the idea of live-streaming from shows, with live broadcasters. No more closed entertainment, see it live. Better streaming equipment is needed, to get it to the social web, not just a website. This is live from The Good Business Show in Houston Texas. In previous segments, broadcasters were interviewing the show guests.

Great Book: Required Reading for Any Startup

Not crazy about the title, but it got ME to pick it up, so it worked. I love the ROWE: Results Only Work Environment. If you were like me, one easily frustrated with being lumped down to the lowest, unproductive common denominator in Corporate America, this book speaks to you. Had corporations adopted this thinking and radioactive formula for success, they would still have you and I and the ideas, productivity and $$$$ to show for it. To the authors: Thanks for writing this book so people don't think I'm nuts.

why work sucks and how to fix it

No Schedules, No Meetings, No Joke – the simple change that can make your job terrific

In a “Results-Only” company or department, employees can do whatever they want whenever they want, as long as business objectives are achieved. No more pointless meetings, racing to get in at 9:00, or begging for permission to watch your kid play soccer. No more cramming errands into the weekend, or waiting until retirement to take up your hobbies again. You make the decisions about what you do and where you do it, every minute of every day.

This book explores why most workplaces are so dysfunctional, and offers a dramatic new way to stop the toxic behaviors and beliefs (“sludge”) that keep us from reaching our potential. It also shows readers how to start their own Results-Only Work Environment, even on a small scale, and help spread the revolution.

    Awesome Show Last Night!

Wow, our Lord is so amazing. Despite the torrential downpours, He lead all of our guests and staff safely to the set of The Good Business Show. We are honored to be able to use the sanctuary of Second Baptist for the taping. This show was the best yet, with musical talent, some incredible Spirit-Filled people and some very intriguing interviews. Our Guests were: Jane Harding & Ron Swofford of Executive Services Corps of Houston,, Mike Malkemes & Martin Garza of Generation One, Alan Litvak of Kingdom Racing, Marti Boone of Be an Angel Fund, Inc., Bonnie Thompson of Pregnancy Crisis Center North, and Musical Guests: Peggy Neff and David Darsey, son of George Darsey, his music is uploaded on the music section.

And of course, the Purpose Media International Cast & Crew!
    Lori Ann Belin
    Scott Belin
    Jason Emanis
    Aaron Lovelace
    Lamar Lovelace
    and myself

We are moving toward the open source entertainment model, where anyone can watch, send and message the shows we produce. They aren't OUR shows to keep to ourselves, they are His shows and they should go everywhere. So if you see something you like, send the players to everyone, put them on your site or blog.

An exciting initiative: We are praying for a title sponsor for this show, and the others in development. The Lord has placed a great opportunity to take this show in venues with live-audiences. The September show will be in front of a 1200 person venue, we would love to fill the seats, and do this all over the country, including Vegas. Can you imagine God has a show in Vegas??? How awesome? Also, SAF Studios in San Antonio wants to help direct this show and place it at their new motion picture theme park when it's built. It will have a home when it completes the road tour. Please be praying for this, and if you know anyone that wants to fund this please let us know.

    The Live-streaming.
We had some technical challenges with the internet signal, and were only able to get parts of it live-streamed to the web, and because of that the microphone adapter wasn't functioning correctly on the back-up computer that was getting a better connection. The web prefers live and if the Lord draws them to the content, they'll watch it regardless of the technical interruptions. So if you were a guest, we will be publishing the interviews on youtube, but don't expect much because the connection froze a number of times. We need lots of prayer for the next show! We are considering a few options to solve these issues, and will have them fixed by the next show.

    Seven Eleven

Today, our creator chose to bring me into this world. Today, I know why, to give His life through me to everyone else--I know why He sent me. It's a huge purpose, to add good to the media world out there, infiltrate the system with His kind of content, but it's Him pulling the strings, not me. I'm just along for the ride, watching in amazement as His plan comes together. Below is a reflection of my life up until today, the beginning of a new chapter, decade and purpose.

This is bizarre. Three decades old. It's awesome, though. Now that I'm officially a grown-up, it's even more liberating to "act" like a twenty-something. So before this day in history, I messed up a lot, ran a successful recruiting business from 21-29, bore 2 beautiful children, married a guy, got divorced from the guy, watched my family evolve into a unit, lost a unit member, became aware that life is not about me, but about other people, gave up my life, again, to Christ, got into web video production somehow, made another company, have a whole new set of friends and connections, started a non-profit and now, here I sit writing this--I only have one thing--a day, today. One day to make a difference. No guarantee of tomorrow, all the opportunity in the world to help another person by just being who I am, nothing more nothing less...just me. Using this time to benefit others in the best way possible. With the help of other people, the talents I've been given can grow into something huge---but without them, those talents aren't magnified to serve others. So, thank you to the family, old friends and new, networking buddies and everyone in the sphere of influence. The interim pastor at our church said this: when you encounter someone else, your life is never the same. You're changed. Good or bad, they added something to you. That changed me. Thanks again!
